Some photos Bergen, the home city of Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, followed by other photos from my travels in Western and Southern Norway.
For these photos and stills I spent a long time going for an authentic film emulation workflow to give a unique flavor and texture to the already rich subject matter.
The second and third photos are of the Domkirke cathedral where you can see a cannonball wedged in the stone to the left of the central window, from where a cannonball (fired by a British vessel I believe) struck the cathedral during the Battle of Vågen in 1665.
I initially had trouble noticing the cannonball in person and didn't catch where it was stuck on the outside of the building until reviewing these photos later.
The next photo is from Rosenkrantz Tower, part of Bergenhus Fortress.
